Recently the actors who play Rue and Cinna have come under attack from Racist “fans” of the Hunger Games. Reblog if you support the casting of Amandla Stenberg, the adorable and talented actress who plays Rue, and Lenny Kravitz, the unquestionable genius who plays Cinna.

i havn’t read/seen the hunger games yet but i support them because that little girl is insanely adorable and i used to have a big crush on lenny kravitz, neither of them deserve getting their performances tarnished because of racist ‘fans’
Are they white in the books or something? I don’t understand why this is an issue regardless of the answer to that question.
Rue is expressly said to have dark skin, and Cinna is never described in detail.
It’s like when they cast Idris Elba as Heimdall in Thor, again.

RUE IS A PERFECT PRINCESS AND CINNA IS MY FAVORITE CHARACTER IN THE WHOLE SERIES.

Changed it to “fans” instead of fans because a true fan would never be so blatantly rude as to racially attack actors for accurately representing their characters.

ACTA is actually worldwide!
The negotiating parties include: Australia, Canada, the European Union, Japan, Mexico, Morocco, New Zealand, the Republic of Korea, Singapore, Switzerland and the United States. And according to Wikipedia of all these participants only The EU, Mexico, and Switzerland have yet to sign!!!
All the negotiations were conducted behind closed doors until a series of leaked documents relating to the negotiations emerged which explains why there is little to no media coverages.
